A big struggle for the Heat is they seem to take a ton of penalties. End of game box scores always seem to have 5+ penalties every game they play. It would go a long way to their success of they could cut that down.
Heat lose 5-4 in regulation. Parsons 23 saves on 28 shots.
goals:
Robinson from Graovac, Quine
Mangipane from Gawdin Graovac
Foo from Dube Lomberg
Lazar
Lazar breaks out of his longest slump (4 games no points) of the season with that goal
Quine on a 5 game point streak (3g, 5a in that span)
Dube on a 4 game point streak (2g, 2a in that span)
Gawdin on a 3 game point streak (2g, 3a in that span)
Foo also breaks out of his longest point drought of the season (5 games) with his goal
Only watched a bit of the 1st, Valimaki looked a little shaky. Don't know if that changed as the game went on.

Gillies was pulled after letting 4 goals in on 17 shots. Parsons let 2 goals in on 22 shots in relief
Dube and Valimaki had 1g 1a each
Stockton goals
Lazar from Rychel Valimaki
Graovac from Valiev Dube
Dube from Foo Ollas Mattsson
Valimaki from Quine Nielsen
Dube on a 6 game point streak with 3g 4a in that span.
Valimaki with 1g 2a in 3 AHL games.
At this point, definitely let Dube play in the minors the rest of the season. He can build some confidence and come in strong September to take over a roster spot.
Stockton Heat @AHLHeat
Stockton Heat injury updates:

Marcus Hogstrom- Lower body, four weeks

Taking my family and 2 friends to the game tonight. There will be 6 of us in the Heat attack zone (2X) off the faceoff circles in row 5 wearing our Flames gear.
Definitely would like to see a win, but looking forward to seeing some of the development of some players that I have never seen play in person before.
Saw Valimaki and Dube in Denver earlier this season with the OT Johnny goal right in front of us. This was the now famous or infamous Rittich early celebration goal... great time and great game that night.
I think those are the only players from tonight's lineup that we have seen in person before.
The Budweiser Events center is technically located in Loveland Colorado, however Fort Collins and Loveland are separated by streets in certain areas. The arena which seats 5280 is about 7.7 miles from our home in Fort Collins...been there many times.
Last game we were there was January 11th for a game against the Bakersfield Condors (Coilers affiliate) and our daughter and her choir sang the National Anthem. They were awesome! Btw, the Eagles won 6-3.
Incidentally, the Colorado Eagles ownership is pushing hard for a new arena now that they are part of the AHL. Sadly, they will probably get their new barn before Calgary gets started on their new events center

A new arena in Loveland? Or would they be open to moving to a different county if someone chips in for an arena?

They are looking in either Larimer or Weld County. The most recent details I have heard were on existing Ranch owned property and they were looking to stay in Loveland.
