I can't believe it but I agree with the Cooler Master.

When given the choice I frequently prefer the American broadcast, often just for the quality of the picture alone. I think AC has some screencaps that illustrate how much better the American broadcast can be.

If it wasn't for Ball and Leslie id probably never watch the Flames fees if I could help it.

That was the case a few years ago, the broadcasts are essentially identical now.

I use the away feed when the Flames broadcast has the superimposed ads, and vice versa when the Flames are on the road. SNET doesn't seem to have the high quality slowmo cameras though

I feel like it's still a thing.

My dad's eyesight isn't what it used to be and he much prefers to watch the US feeds when he is over to watch a game.

Also I feel like the audio is far superior in terms of on ice and arena sound.

This past spring the NBC broadcasts were ridiculously compressed on Canadian cable. Sportsnet was far superior.

It didn't use to be that way, as AC pointed out.
