Good point. If he ends up with a mediocre season what does he get paid? Very interesting development.

The biggest loss this season for the Canucks is probably Elias Pettersson. It's amazing how bad he looks.

Is Petterson trying to get traded too? Gives up the puck and then just watched from his knees as they skate down the ice.

Wow. Petterssen again falls down and turns the puck over at the blueline. He has now done this a few times in the first half-dozen games.

And for tonight's main course... crow!

Is there anything better than EDM and VAN fans and media having to eat their words this season?

Congrats to the canucks for reaching 30 goals against. A few teams just hit 20, but you let those goals in like a boss.

*looks at Flames 6 GA*

Blaster I’m interested in your take on why the Canucks are so bad this year and what if anything will help them dig out of the hole?

Lol under two weeks of season played and the Canucks have allowed 24 more goals than the Flames.

Thats straight up impressive.

A stay at home defenceman to help out Quinn and an elite goalie to cover up bad team defence.

And you'd like to say "that's what happens when you lose your starting goalie in free agency" but honestly it's not even their goalies' fault. They've probably given up 24 more breakaways than the Flames too.

That looks high, but it's probably good.

He was crouched some, and you couldn’t see the bar from the angle they showed.

Canucks tie it.

Perfect.

It just sets it up so Toffolli can kick sand on them and score with 7 seconds left.

Engelland only did it on PK. We called it the washerwoman.

I think Simpson might be right and they tagged up, but CBC hasn't shown the frame that would prove it yet.

So power play Montreal, another goal to make it 4-2, and that's the ball game.
