Bump.
My girlfriend is going back to school and looking for a new laptop.
She is specifically looking at these two laptops:
Lenovo z40
Lenovo z510
She's not going to be using it for anything too intense. Generating documents, spreadsheets, internetting, and playing the Sims.

Opinions? Other suggestions?
Thanks in advance!

I'm bumping an old thread out of the grave for a PSA.

If anyone has any need of a new laptop, go buy an ASUS Zephyrus G14. If you can find one on a boxing day sale, it's a no brainer.

I had to get my Razer Blade repaired due to what turned out to be a dead NVME drive (no biggie, my SATA SSD works fine) but while I was waiting I bought this thing. And holy crap. A few quick alterations, and it's literally an RTX 2060 max q gaming laptop with 8-10 hours of battery life (web browsing / light use). At idle, more like 14 hours. The screen is a bit of a downside; despite being nice and bright and 120hz it does have a bit of ghosting but that's literally the only downside here. Well, the keyboard backlighting is kind of crappy compared to my Razer but frankly I just turn it off (even better battery performance) and the keyboard itself is quite good. I'm now keeping this for sure and will decide whether to put the Razer Blade up for sale on Kijiji.

Everyone who plays any games at all should own one of these. I am shocked at how good an all 'rounder this sucker is.
