Calgary Flame-ing Hot Takes
Ok guys it's time to heat things up with some hot takes about the Calgary Flames.
My hottest take: Dillon Dube will be the Flames' #1 centre, between Tkachuk and an offseason acquisition at RW (Mike Hoffman?) by February 15, 2021.
I'll post some more in a bit but I want to see what you guys can come up with. Hot takes!

I like the Dube prediction but as much as I like Hoffman I just don’t want another left-shot winger unless he is of the Hall caliber.

I don't particularly want Hoffman either, he's just who I think the Flames could be after. Another name could be Mikael Granlund. But that’s not the crux of the hot take.

Flames trade Gaudreau and Monahan for Barzal and Eberle this off-season when Barzal and Lou cannot agree to terms and the offer sheet fear is real. Flames then sign Taylor Hall and the battle of Alberta script gets even juicier with Hall and Eberle on the Flames with revenge on the mind. The Flames also get their first line, right shot C with blazing speed

I hate to be pendantic (not true, I love it), but that is exactly right. Shouldn't a hot take be an opinion of something that has actually happened, and a bold prediction be a guess of a future, perhaps unlikely event?

Not sure why people have the hots for Hall. He's totally overrated and I really don't think he should've won the Hart Trophy let alone being nominated in that category. I think money is better spent elsewhere. I don't think Hall's gonna accept a hometown discount to play in a Flames uniform.
