He had a some good spurts and it was certainly exciting.

I will always wonder if he let up on the training when he didn't think he'd get signed by any NHL team, putting him back, and leaving him more prone for injury.

I was fortunate enough to see him live a few times at his best with the Flames. When he was on, he was a lot of fun to watch. He was really, really slow, but he could find guys with passes without even looking. Still wish it worked out better.

Really the problem was he rushed into the lineup to start the year after having no training camp.

Honestly had he taken a little more time to practice with the team, even maybe an AHL conditioning stint I think it would have been better.

Jumping right in with the team after only a week of practice was probably the biggest mistake.

I was at the Minnesota game when he tore his groin. First time getting to see Jagr live oddly enough.

I blame myself.

Thanks for posting this, still satisfying to vote for Jagr as a Flame.

Short run, but memorable.

I honestly thought if he kept up his training the summer prior, he could've continue playing on till now and get to 2000 points.

May as well post his recap:

Fun to watch despite the circumstances and his lack of production ultimately. Still very cool to say he was a Flame.

Watching those highlights, it's a shock to me that Jagr only had 7 points in 22 games. I am positive that if he played a full season in Calgary, fully conditioned and all, we could have seen another 50/60 point season from him.

I mean still super cool he played his last game, scored his last goal with the flames. I have no regrets buying that jersey

The events that unfolded on CP after Jagr's signing really showed the power, drive, and generosity of the CP community when everyone came together to bring arguably the biggest Flames fan in the Czech Republic (Could probably put just biggest Flames fan) to Calgary for a few games. Albeit, Jagr was not playing in Calgary anymore by the time calgaryboy was able to make it here, it was still a very memorable time on CP.

Not sure if something like that has ever resulted from a Flames free agent signing.

It's still insane to me that I got to cover what could be the last games of Jagr's NHL career.

Arguably Brett Hull.

But I'd rank Jagr ahead of Hull too.

I like that he's 48 years old and hasn't played an NHL game in over 2 years, but it's still not certain that he has played his last game.
