Old Bob Cole and Cassie Campbell commentating is what you would listen to if you were sent to Hell.

There just is not much offense if the big line or the first unit pp is not going.

That was ####ing sickening. What a homer call. The entire broadcast was salivating over the oilers the entire night.

Wish this wasn’t on the second half of a back to back. Flames just looked off tonight.

Hopefully with Gio coming back some players can get back in their natural positions.

Meh, the Oilers can fondly remember this night in April while on the golf course, we will be playing meaningful hockey. F those losers.

Onto the next.

But that was terrible everywhere you looked outside of Rittich.

This officiating is terrible.

That game was as close to unwatchable as anything we’ve seen in a long time.

JG honestly only forward regularly noticeable.
Some garbage penalty calls (Peluso and Prout, reputation calls) calls and a very dubious goal called back. The goalie didn’t even complain.

I'm not saying this as a bitter fan..............

............but that's it? The Oilers, that's what a healthy, rested Oilers team looks like?

Good luck with that. Bad, bad hockey team.

With the Gio suspension combined with the 3 games in 4 nights while the Oil are rested at home, I don't think the league could have set the Flames up for failure more if they tried.

Edmonton is still no good.

As mad as I am that they lost, with the guys we're missing I told myself Friday that I'd be happy going 1-1 this weekend and we did.

Still top of the West baby. Work on that golf swing, Oilers

Tired Flames
Injuries
Officials in their back pocket
Playing at home

Oilers had every advantage here

Unspectacular Oilers and the tired and depleted Flames. Pretty boring game.

Pretty typical game. Bad luck on the goal against, Oilers given plenty of soft PPs, Oilers aren't called on blatant penalties.

Kassian tripped Brodie after we killed one of our PPs in the 3rd, slam dunk penalty call and nothing.

Oh well, team looked exhausted and were without Gio, Backlund, Frolik, and Valimaki.

Maybe just my imagination but I feel like Bennett has neutralized the Tkachuck line.
