I didn't want to say it, but I'm looking forward to the first PI against Rose on Sunday. And the second. And hopefully after the third Ottawa just decides to bench him and play a backup in his spot.

Its funny because I've been to Grey Cup practices (and not just the Stamps) and they're really casual compared to the normal practices.


While you might insert a play or two, you're really working on anything dramatically new. If the player doesn't have the skill, you're not going to teach it this week.


The idea of the practices is more based around emotion and team bonding, and getting the players to relax before the game.


All the shovel and spade work was done weeks ago.

Boy it must be nice to have an indoor facility like that to practice. Stamps are pretty lucky they run a successful operation because they may have the worst facilities in the CFL.

It always baffled me how the Stamps can be such a poor team in bad weather.

They practice all the time in it.

Bo was on fire in the first half of that game.

I also remember seeing the illegal block on the infamous Brandon Banks punt return and knowing the return (which turned into a potential game winning touchdown) would be for not. Good times.

I had a great view of that illegal block at BC Place and loved seeing that piece of orange nylon hitting the turf.

Kind of a surprise that Matthews would be out. He's been the only source of big plays in the receiving game down the stretch.
