how long does setting it to dmz take? I don't have a few hours to figure it out, that's what I got

I have the E3500 and it is pretty easy to set the DMZ on the router. The easiest method I think that router supports is to enter in the MAC address of your ps3 which can be found by looking at the devices connected to the router on the welcome screen. You also can prioritize devices such as the ps3.

192.168.1.1 is the Address you need to type into your browser. You can then enter your credentials and should be able to find Security on the left hand side which has a tab for DMZ. The front screen also has a place where you can set priority.

If your router is having errors trying to set the DMZ you might need to update the routers firmware I ran into this earlier this year. It required me to reset the router which was pain.

If you are using MAC address you are ok as PS3's can't really get infected.
If you are setting it to a IP address you have to be careful that no other devices will use that IP. You want to ensure your ps3 is using a Static IP that will not overlap with ones dynamically assigned by your router for other devices.

Just an fyi about my defense playing tendencies.

I try to play very conservative, not pinching often or trying big hits.

When I get the puck from the point, I usually try to pass it right back to the player who just passed it (give and go)... seems really effective. If I can take a shot, it's usually a low snap or wrist shot looking for a tip or a juicy rebound.

I fixed my router problems and have reduced the lag, been looking for you guys online but unable to get any games going. Mostly playing d, covering the slot and lining up big hits when someone standing still gets passed to.
