Default F is for Family

Created by Bill Burr and produced by Vince Vaughn. Came out on Netflix today.

Absolutely hilarious. Thought it got off to a slow start but picked up right away. Frank freaking out during Halloween almost had me in stitches.

Awesome, I've been excited for this but didn't realize it was out until I saw this.

Starting now.

I watched the first episode. It kinda has a King Of The Hill vibe with f bombs.

Finished all the episodes.

Loved it, but it felt a bit like a 6 episode pilot. None of the characters outside of the family felt fleshed out .

Hope they make more.

Burr was on the Opie & Jimmy show last week so I made a point to check them out before I forgot all about it.

Episode 2 and 4 had me laughing out loud, incredibly funny. So nice to actually have something funny to watch instead of the usual popular garbage sitcoms.

Loved it.

I just watched the first episode and I'll try another tomorrow maybe, but some rage-o-holic screaming at his wife, kids and loser friends for 20 minutes isnt doing it for me.

The first was the weakest of them all imo, but if you didn't like the general idea then you probably won't warm up to it

I'll give it a fair shake. I'm not too familiar with Bill Burr or his style.

The idea was to capture the 70's, and the dad character is based loosely on his own dad

Oh I got that. There is also a distinct possibility that its just a little too close to my own dad for my liking.

I've watched one episode. I'll try some more and see what happens.

I think I've watched the first three episodes now, and it's really not doing it for me. I'm a pretty big fan of Bill Burr, so I'm actually mildly disappointed. The characters are all pretty one-dimensional. I did get a kick out of the dirtbag talk-show host guy.

You didn't laugh at little Bill being traumatized by the men's washroom at the football stadium? Or sneaking into his parents room and hiding under the bed and hearing/witnessing them having sex?

I can't remember the last time I laughed so loud.

Watched two episodes. Not a big fan. I just don't think it's that funny.

There were parts that made me laugh but there were certainly some long spells in between laughs. The scene where he's stuck watching his parents have sex is pretty good.

It's just my opinion, but I think it's far below the likes of Archer, South Park, Bob's Burgers, etc.

Both of those scene's I found hilarious, especially when he got the eye full of his dad's ass and ball sack.

I liked it. But I think it's greatly aided by the fact you can binge it.

As a weekly episode on Fox it would have struggled.

Absolutely, I think the creators would even agree with you. On Rogan's podcast Burr said something along the lines of "It won't touch the likes of South Park"

Excellent cartoon aside from the kid getting traumatized, those scenes weren't really necessary
