Not sure i have ever seen that before.
I remember Monahan doing it from his own zone before, for a penalty. I don't think he was behind the goal line.

Come on now. The ‘best player in the world’ can’t be on every game.

That puck would have traveled 250 feet? From a wrist shot.

Yeah I could do that.

Reneda's quote from earlier in the period ona supposed non-call, "That's the best player in the world. The referees have to call that penalty".

I heard that call. He has a lot of work to do before he can take that title.

What is with this recent commentary coming out of Edmonton that the rules should be different for McDavid? "Special players should be protected."

The ####?!? How do you manage that? Think it through... Which players are special? Does every team get one (or just the Oilers)? Do we have a player wear a gold helmet and they can't be checked?

What the serious #### is wrong with the media in that town?

Remenda has a long association with the Sharks organization. The fact that he has been able to become such a shill for the Oilers is a testament to the man's ability as a mercenary.

The Bruins defeated the Kings in OT. Bergeron scored the GWG on the PP and had 2 assists. Marchand with a SHG and the Bruins had did well on the PK going 4 for 5. The Kings came back from a 2 goal deficit in the 3rd period to earn the single point.

The Panthers surprised the Capitals in Washington with the OT victory. Just like Bergeron did in the Bruins win, Hoffman scored the GWG. The Capitals also came back from a 2 goal deficit in the 3rd period to earn the single point.

The Lightning beat the Penguins in reg time. This game was balanced as there were 3 goals per period. The Lightning scored a SHG. The loss leaves the Pens in 8th place, one point up on the Hurricanes and 2 up on the Sabres.

The Sabres get an important win defeating the Red Wings 3-1. All of the goals were scored in the 2nd period and 3 of them on the PP.

The Coyotes stay in the playoff hunt as they hung on for the 3-2 reg time win. Galchenyuk scored 2 PPGs and had an assist.
