Huge win for Spurs! It looked like another “close, but not good enough” effort from today, but they pulled it out. As usual the reffing was questionable, and I don’t know what the solution is. Lucas Moura was bowled over clearly, and there’s no call. Then later Isaac Success is touched I guess, and drops like a sack of potatoes for a foul. I know the standard for a penalty is higher (it shouldn’t be of course), but it’s just so inconsistent.
Oh well, Spurs are in decent shape, Liverpool could bottle this yet, and City doesn’t look invincible either. Could be an interesting finish still!
Much as we mock Fellaini, he is perhaps the sport's greatest plan B and United would currently be in Europa League without him instead of likely to be picked by more people than not to beat PSG (now that Neymar is out). He should never have started as much as he did under Mourinho, but he's still a valuable player in the right role. I suspect he's back in Europe sooner than later, height (and elbows) never ages.

true. He's become the face of everything that went wrong since Fergies retirement, but a lot of it wasn't his fault. It wasn't his fault that he was the only signing that summer and United overpaid. It wasn't his fault that ####ty managers were hired who relied on him too much. And it wasn't his fault that Mourinho begged him to stay and handed him a lucrative deal. But fans will remember all that stuff when they think about the 5 and a half years. Long time, by the way. Many players who were a lot more talented had shorter United careers.
Can't fault his commitment and he did score a few big goals. But yeah, I'm not going to shed a tear.

Unlike the great many players he elbowed in the head...

So Klopp complains last year about West Brom deliberately not watering the pitch to disadvantage Liverpool then has the groundsmen clear snow ONLY from the end they were attacking last night.

Classy club.
It's a running joke with Klopp though. He's complained about the pitch a number of times, which is just plain hilarious. If they blow this, it's going to be just great to watch.

Remember, the only real reason we are where we are is because all of Manchester and most of London have already blown it.
