Default January 11 with ten games.

The Saturday OOT has a decent morning/matinee to start the discontinuous tripleheader on SN. The early HNIC game is a weak one with a pair of slumping teams prior to the marquee HNIC game, the battle of Alberta! The other good thing is that the Leafs are not playing. For those who have Centre Ice, the Bruins-Isles is the best OOT game.

What a snoozer for prime time HNIC match up today. Hopefully the second game makes up for it.

Yep, easterners get the dud and westerners get the fireworks. Easterners should stay up and watch the real prime time game.

The Sabres take the lead after nearly three solid minutes of offensive zone pressure, which included a full powerplay. 1–0.

Michael Frolik is playing in his second game in Buffalo today. Go Frolik!

Woah! That was a trip. Puck sure looked to go through the net. But the last angle shows it hitting the crossbar and going over.

Which makes Travis Green's incredulous reaction to the call particularly hilarious.

This does raise an interesting question:

It didn't happen in this instance, but what say a puck actually blows through a hole in the net without actually crossing the line?

I think it has to be a goal, but technically speaking it isn't one.

The Canucks!

No question that review doesn't ever happen if the dummies on the visitor's bench didn't ask for it.

That was weird. Why one angle looks like it’s in and another looks like it’s not even close.

The Sabres think defence is something you put around “deyard“.

Are the Sabres ever going to turn the corner? Can't blame it all on the coaches as they have had several.

During the Vancouver broadcast, there was a commercial for a Simpson interview tonight. Who is the player they showed her sitting with?
