"It's not been put on hold, it's just been pushed back a little bit," McGregor said. "The scripts are excellent and they just want them to be better, so we just pushed it back. It's very dramatic, it would seem, online. There's all kinds of (poop) online about it but it's only just slid back a bit, but we're still shooting it, it'll still be aired when it was meant to be, and I'm really excited about it. It'll be fun to play again.

So I was at Chapters and I picked up the book Dooku. The premise was that it was going to follow Dooku from the time he was an initiate until he left the Order. Its told from the viewpoint of Ventress who is on a mission for her master to track down his sister.
First of all, its a little different because its written like a script or screenplay which means you're getting the base physical description, and just the lines from the character. Once you get use to it, its ok, but it was different.
The concept of how Dooku fell to the Darkside and rose as a Sith Lord has always been an interesting story hole in the books and comics. This book fills in the gap as we see Dooku going from a very kind friendly jedi with a streak of rebellion to a bitter and disillusioned Jedi Master who had a seat on the dark council
I was hoping to see an interaction between Sidious and Dooku that lead to him joining the Sith, but the story doesn't go that far.
You also get a lot more sympathy for Ventress, who knows she's a slave, knows her Sith Master doesn't love her, and is especially haunted by the events that made her fall to the darkside.

The last episode of Star Wars Resistance is this Saturday. I decided to stick with it since it was a short series. But it really comes down to the Star Wars version of Friends, where for the 2 years, nothing really happened, and you never got the escalation of tension that we got in Clone Wars and Rebels. While they had one underlying story which was the defection of Tam to the First Order, they carefully avoided her going all first order.
Clone Wars starts its season 7 on the 21st, and then after that it will be a while before we get new Star Wars content on Disney.

I'm hoping the over whelming positive review (speculation of course) to the Clone Wars final season means they aren't done with animated, just re tooling from this first order series. If they do the one a week episode then Clone Wars should take us into April?
Mandalorian season 2 has been confirmed to start airing in November 2020.

There's also a heavy rumor that Filoni is already working on a Rebels season that follows Sabine and Ashoka as they chase down Ezra in the unknown regions, which might mean that they'll run into the fledging first order

That sounds great. Ahsoka is my favourite, the ultimate moral compass in the Star Wars universe. Wish we could get her on the big screen.
