This looks really good, even though I have no time to get into a new series right now, but one thing I noticed is Seth Rogen is a director/producer??? should have some humor in it.

No new episode this week. Who premieres a show then goes on a two week hiatus? Stupid AMC.
I remember complaining about basically the same thing when Fear the Walking Dead premiered. They did the pilot, one more episode, and then the next new episode was two weeks later (because of Labour Day): http://epguides.com/FeartheWalkingDead/
Finally got around to watching the first episode last night.
Definite departure from the graphic novels to begin (with a couple important similarities), but all acceptable changes, though I'm disappointed Jesse, Root and "Eugene" already know each other.
Suffice to say, it was very very good, and acting is surprisingly good as well. My wife even liked it, which was a surprise.
Looking forward to a full season that hopefully covers most; if not all; of the first graphic novel set.
I just finished the first episode and I enjoyed it but I am not 100% sure I understand what is going on.
So the Irish fellow Cassidy is some kind of vampire? I assume this because of the blood and his hand starting on fire in the sun.
Tulip is obviously some kind of criminal and Jesse did jobs with her in the past.
The preachers in Africa and Russia as well as Tom Cruise (on TV) got possessed and then exploded? I also noticed that they seemed to be 3 different denominations, is that important?
Jesse got possessed and didn't explode? Why him and not the others? Because he is more flawed? This is the biggest thing I do not understand the most... well 2nd most confusing thing.
The most confusing thing is the cop's (Sheriff's?) son, why does his mouth look like an butt hole?

His nickname is Arseface...watch the next few episodes and you will find out why. You should have been able to determine what happened based on his dialogue though
And my two cents I loved it....going to be a great adaptation.
Haha yeah AlbertaBeef I would just say that you have everything down correct so far.
And you can click those spoiler boxes to find out more but I'd say you should just find out from the show. It'll be more fun that way.
I can see why it is a bit confusing but I think you are supposed to have a ton of questions. You seem to have the main beats down so at least you aren't totally lost.
Your questions are things that just haven't been revealed yet... it's not that you didn't understand things. Basically, all of the answers will probably be revealed in due course so you'd just be spoiling the show for yourself.
