I was so lost seeing those new aliens, need to go back to last season and watch the last few episodes, I must have missed a few.

They appeared the the 7 or so months we missed the "action". Fracking pitiful writing IMO. I think they are hastily moving down the story because of the borderline viewership. Creating a new protagonist/possible antagonist is a good way to hold viewers and get people talking about the show.

Ok so the first two episodes are pretty solid, ignoring that we "missed" all that time where those new aliens pop into the story. I thought the newest episode was quite good.

Good mystery that's for sure! The show has strong actors and getting to the action is never a bad thing! Being a science fiction fan I still love the show ... even it's faults.
