He was solid last night.

Average in Arizona. But on the whole since the childbirth he's been good. He's raised his season save percentage in the last 2 weeks which says enough.

I am totally cheering for a Markstrom redemption story. He has never seemed like anything but a professional and a good team player throughout his struggles.

Markstrom getting himself back to being one of the better goalies in the league is far more valuable to the organization than moving up a 2 or 3 spots in the draft (if the Flames were continuing to struggle)

Yes. Thought the White Cloud goal last night was weak.

Flames only gave up 19 shots, and still 2 went in. But the Coyotes game was worse by far, IMO.

Markstrom pretty much needs to be lights out from here onward.

Idk. Definition of a loser to me.

Whines after every goal against despite being unable to stop a beach ball.

Cringey idiot

12 goals against in his last 1.5 games.

I like Jacob Markstrom

I think Sutter doesn’t like Jacob Markstrom.

I liked him much better when he was stopping pucks.

That is something that rubs me the wrong way about him. He's always looking to blame someone else - or rather the refs - for why he didn't stop the puck.

I can understand some goals expressing your disagreement here and there, but he does it too often for a goalie that should be confident in their abilities and maintain poise. I feel it reflects why he has had a terrible season.

I actually think, as far as post-game interviews go, Markstrom is fantastic at taking and accepting responsibility. A huge contrast from someone like Mike Smith.

I don't like Markstrom's play or contract, but his character seems awesome.

He gave up 1 fewer goal than Vladar, so he should get the next 10 starts.

It'll be great if Markstrom can get the Flames to within the 10th overall draft position for this upcoming draft! Who cares about his save percentage and stats this year. I'm sure a lot of Flames players will bounce back next season.
