Split - rent bikes and ride up the mountain, rub the toe, and enjoy the little squares for coffee and gelato.
Highly recommend taking the car over to Hvar. If you are a young partied the city of Hvar is a blast. We stayed in Milna a small hike to Hvar but a gorgeous little fishing village. Then drive the island. It is gorgeous. Did an island hoping boat tour. Great time.
Dubrovnik - don’t pay for the GoT stuff. Just walk the city you’ll see it all. Walk the wall!! It is amazing. Hole in the wall bar - little bar through an actual hole in the wall on the cliff side (do shots and cliff jump at the same time). We also did a kayak tour out to the island just to the left side of the harbour and saw the purple cave. Great tour, had some snorkeling as well.

What happened to make Krka no longer swimmable? That's a shame, it was a beautiful spot to hike around and take a swim.
Edit: Ah, I just googled it. To protect the park.
