If mangipane could return Ottawas first rounder, you make that trade 8n a heartbeat.

Yeah, what’s with the weird angles? Someone needs to tell him about the rule of thirds.

My overwhelming impression from that video is that he really loves his treadmill.

He shows a different background in every video—it’s a schtick. I think he thinks it’s funny.

I just noticed the wall jack and realized that is the wall behind him. I thought it looked like he was in a bathroom sitting on the toilet and that was the ceiling, like he was holding the phone by his knees.

In the hockey breaking news game, if you’re not first, you’re last. For what purpose? Credibility and ego stroking I guess, since he’s not paid for a role as this anywhere.

Haven’t heard any more if he’s in the running to be considered for the Sharks GM…but I am pretty sure that rumour was one of his sources throwing him a bone and floating that idea out there to see if it gained traction, and again, try and give him more cred.

…only due to cap constraints.

Mangiapane is a *fantastic* two way forward who looks like he’s on the brink of popping 40.

His production given his minutes is absolutely insane.

I really hope we find a way to keep Johnny, Chucky, and Mang.

Exactly my thoughts. If not for cap restraints I don't make that trade if I am Calgary. A lot of picks at 7 never pan out. I was proposing it on the assumption both Gaudreau and Tkachuk get new big money deals. If I am Ottawa I am all over that.

I'm a big fan off moving Tyler and one of Sean or Milan to get johnny, Mathew and Andrew signed.

Look at me on a 1st name basis

If you trade Mangiapane at this point, it's got to be a hockey trade. Supposing the Flames do get Gaudreau and Tkachuk signed, they'll be heavy on the wings and light up the middle. I'd think you have to look at trading Mangiapane for a cost-controlled centre with significant upside.

I wonder if there is any way you get Mercer for Mangiapane?

Probably not I guess.

You never know. 35-goal scorers don't grow on trees.

I think I remember this guy didn't want to sign with the Rangers right? I guess the playoff run changed his mind.

When a couple of toughs show up at your door in the middle of the night with a shovel, an empty duffle bag and a picture of Edmonton, you sign whatever they ask you to sign.

He didn’t want to play in the minors over the KHL.

Oilers down 1 goalie. Maybe 2 if Smith retires.
