Ouch. That's a big loss for the Avs if he can't return for the finals. With a severe injury I would guess Kane gets a couple of games suspension for that, maybe even 3.

It could very well cost them the Stanley Cup.
And Kane will probably get 1 game for it, and will continue to be lauded by Oiler fans and employed by the Oilers.

A move that already looked bad on the NHL in letting Kane off the hook and back into the league now looks even worse.

I am still trying to wrap my head around the actual penalty… Lucic got 5 and a game for his “hit” on Mike Smith where he clearly held up to avoid full contact. Yet Kane only gets 5 min for a clearly dirty and dangerous hit and no game misconduct. Terrible call by the refs and league

You can’t event put the stop sign on the back of the jersey like they have for minor hockey because I doubt Kane could read the sign. You learn as a 5 year old not to make that hit.
