Combine this with the fact that McDavid had more ice time vs VGK than every single skater on the Flames had in our game vs ARZ.

Edmonton is totally going full out, effort wise right now, and more likely to burn out.

And that was in a 4-0 win too. You'd think they would feel safe to dial back the ice time. But the Oilers coaching staff has zero confidence in the rest of the team to reel in the win and it's also about boosting individual stats.

He seems much more dangerous this year, shooting really well, skating, puck control, just a total monster package.

Yes, but Lindholm is much better in transition and defensively than Monahan at any point.
