This doesn't seem like rocket science to me. Is any explanation actually required besides common sense?
We have seen both players in game action and to me Andersson has looked much better than Bartkowski.

Need the 1st line to break out in a big way. They've had some good rushes, but often select to pass instead of shooting. I know a guy like Monahan is fighting it when he's trying to thread a cross ice pass over to Ferland instead of taking the shot.

And FFS please let the PP win us a game for once.

This cracks me up, first I was think why is top swearing on that line, then I look closer, it's actually a name. The team drafted a player who's name are full of vowels in Eetu Tuulola, then this kid who's name only has one vowel.

I'm not very fond of watching Matt Bartkowski trying to do the hockey.

I think Bart will be fine. Just needs to play within the system and not try to do too much.

It's a good idea to have a 7th D available in case someone tweaks something during warmup. Don't want to be stuck with only 5 D if you don't have to.

Hey, he can haphazardly swing his stick with the best of them. Have you seen the butterfly soft rub-outs he has performed, Savage!!

Agreed. IMO Bart has been fine and Andersson looked overwhelmed in the last game he played. I think Andersson gets another shot and he will prove to be the better d-man long-term, but I can understand why Bart is in over him.

Hope not, a win tonight and they slide into 3rd in the division and still keep pace with everyone fighting for a wildcard spot. They will have played the most games though.

I would prefer Andersson play but I get why you dress Bart.

Guy has been practicing and working to get into the lineup but hasn’t played for a month. Need to reward him with a game and let him at least get one in.

Then go to Andersson after the break if needed.

Well, for all his faults, at least Bart is physical and isn't shy about laying the lumber across the numbers in his own zone. Him not giving Gaudreau an inch in practice earlier rubbing him out is a good sign he's mentally prepared to play.

I still fully expect a few of these moments though.
