Is Gazdic the last pure enforcer in the league? I can't really think of any off the top of my head.

I hate mega threads probably more than anyone but threads like these are why some should exist. No offence to the OP intended it's just two scrubs being waived probably shouldn't have more than 5 posts of discussion.

With Gazdic on waivers (assuming he's headed down), are there any bona fide single dimension heavyweight scrappers left in the NHL?

Pure enforcer might be a bit of a stretch. Guy who fights with a plastic face shield is probably a better description.

Engelland is probably top 10 enforcer in the league.

agreed.

I think the question was about the pure goon though. THe one dimensional.

As far as toughest in the league right now all things considered, I still put Chara at the top, with Lucic, Reaves, Peluso and Wilson in the mix.

Was listening to 630 ched a few weeks ago. Stauffer claimed that if the Oilers put Gazdic on waivers that he would get claimed. Said that Gazdic has value around the league.

Okay Bob, keep on drinking that blue kool aid.

Are teams around the league short on concession staff?

Bob must be the biggest homer in professional sports media, seriously, can anyone name anyone even close to this goofball?

Even his face looks looks like "homer" if you could cartoon it.
