A month ago when we looked at opposing team's schedules littered down the stretch with the Blues and Predators we thought that those teams would likely suffer some losses but those two teams have been a nightmare for the Flames playoff drive seemingly playing their worst hockey against teams in the race to make the playoffs. You would think Blues and Preds would get up for these games seeing they could be first round matchups but that hasn't been the case at all.

Not impressed with Shaw and Centre Ice. I bought Centre Ice to watch a lot of the games down the stretch that affect the Flames. So today go to watch the Blues/Wild game and couldn't find it anywhere on Centre Ice. What the hell???

Go Kings. Cannot cheer or hope good things for the Canucks in almost any circumstance.

It's good and bad because the Flames probably have a better chance beating out the Kings than the Canucks for the playoffs. As long as it doesn't go into extra time though it helps the cause though.

Why would anyone want the Canucks to win?

The Kings have a horrible schedule coming up. A brutal Eastern road swing. Screw the Canucks, take 2 here and watch LA will go into a tumble on this upcoming trip.

Don't think so.

The canucks have a much better record all season than they should have. They are due to tumble a bit and and could easily miss out as they struggle against bad teams.

absolute garbage hit from Toffoli

Crosschecks Burrows on the numbers, 5 feet from the boards

gets tossed and should get a few games with it

looked like Burrows might have been out after his head hit the boards

Man, the Blues have been an absolute disaster for the Flames lately.

4-1 Canucks final

Kings in tough now, only 3 home games left, 8 on the road where they only have 12 all season

I hope so. All the rest of the teams really need at this point is for just one of the five teams in the hunt to slump. At this point I don't care who it is as long as it's not the Flames.

Yeah, as much as this game was a brutal loss for the Flames this afternoon... I think that loser point is going to be huge at holding off LA. They are in tough, and now needing 2Ws to pass Calgary gives a smidge of breathing room.

Montreal putting the dagger in SJ tonight by devastating them would be sweet.

Really could use a "solid" from the Caps tonight.

Bit of a punch in the balls on that Flames finish, but it should be a nailbiter for the next few hours.

Cheering for the Habs and the Caps seems a little odd.

Sharp suit on George. He is dreamy.

Never want to see someone hurt... but it's Burrows, so... win/win?

Toffoli suspended for sure, so LA worse
Vancouver down Burrows who they value so Vancouver worse

Great!

Jets on their heels for about the last five minutes without a whistle. Hopefully they are spent already.
