I watched a program on testing infocommerical products, and one was the flex seal. To test it, the program did exactly what the commerical was doing. Spray down a screen door, and then watch it float leak free. On the show they also tried spraying a screen door and letting it float in a river, but the door leaked and was sinking. In fact all the products they tried failed the grade.

I actually really like our slap chop. Doesn't get much use but we have had ours for a few years and we didn't pay much for it ($10 IIRC)
Good for cutting hot peppers or whipping up some fresh salsa.
I think the premise of the slap chop is good, but it isn't executed well. The food doesn't tend to release from the blades if you're chopping up something like an onion or garlic. If it was a real blade, and not an un-honed piece of sheet metal, it would probably work really well.
The other problem with the slap chop is you need to cut the food so it fits under the chopper. If I need a knife already why do I need the slap chop too
The magic bullet works great, but it craps out after a few months. Good idea, just not built for the long-term.
If you can find the "steel" edition one, it actually has a better motor, better blades and a crapton more attachments. Have had one for about 4 years and it still works peachy.
this one is great. It's like his braining is screwing with him.
strokes aren't funny
but I think he just had one

I’m always amazed these sportscasters and announcers can call the game with McDavid’s **** in their mouths all the time.

This reminds me of a kitty litter commercial that used to be on. The woman is trying to dump the litter into the garbage can, and basically has a stroke while doing it.
I picked up one of the Ikea "slap chops". Pretty dismal. I should have known better.
From a couple of home / garden type shows:
We have in the past though, purchased a mandolin and potato peeler that were razor sharp. They work well, but the plastic has a cheap, brittle feel to it. It's also terrifying to clean. I think a professional grade mandolin would have been a better choice.
Also, these work really well for storing long extension cords and keeping them organized.
I took off a big chunk of finger using one of those...really dangerous
