Nice fight by Breen.
Also liked he he kept an arm/hand behind the opponent as he went down so he didn't hit his head on the ice

I like the mean streak Breen has added to his game this year. I wouldn't be surprised to see him as a Flame some day, which I wouldn't have said in past seasons.

I love the Tim Thomas comparisons of Brust. Aggressive, wild, unorthodox, and throws the odd hit haha.

What can you say about Breen? I would not want to meet up with that uppercut. I think the flames could really use a defender that keeps peoples heads up like Breen. Its nice to see a bit of mean streak in him, its something the flames have been sorely lacking.
Was really impressed with Brust in the first, if he keeps up his stellar play he is going to force the flames to give him a shot with the big club.

The Stars are doing such a good job plugging up the middle of the ice because they know the Heat are small and don't want to hack it along the boards.

Eakin looks like a solid hockey player.
Stars sure made out like gangbusters there....
Traded Ribeiro (who's in the final year of his contract and may never even play a game for the Caps, if the lockout continues and he signs elsewhere next July) for Eakin and a 2nd round pick last June.
Imagine if the Flames would have traded say.....Horak and a 2nd rounder for a phantom year of Mike Ribeiro. I'd be pretty choked.
