To be fair, if they gave each person extended periods of time to decide, the tickets could easily go unused for half a season.

For example, if they gave you a month, and 3 people passed, that would be half a season with the seats not claimed.

Since it is a one-person-at-a-time system, they have no choice but to keep it moving.

True, except this is only for hothouse renewals, not for actually buying season seats.

I was away on an extended vacay when the hothouse offers went out last year and missed the deadline but they were more than happy to take my $200 after the fact. I actually didn't get my package until probably February after having completely forgot about it... not that I use those 300 tickets anyways so no biggey

You guys have smart phones don't you?

I was vacationing in Muskoka two years ago while on the Hot House list. While checking my emails sitting by the lake, to my surprise I received an email from the Flames offering me season tickets! I had a week to reply, and gladly accepted my season tickets via my iPhone.

Yes, but I never take my phone on vacation anymore, since if I do I end up getting and answering work email, which isn't a vacation.

So I became a Hot House member this year and how does it work exactly. I believe someone said that they will mail me out my membership number and where I sit on the waiting list - at that time do you get your tickets you random tickets to 2 games - do you think they'll wait to see what is happening with CB?

Just wondering.

Thanks

Has anyone renewed their hot house membership yet?

I finally got the renewal email this morning as well. Was getting a bit worried.

What's the waiting list for second level currently at? Thinking I might not renew at the press level and just start back on the second level. Don't know if I want to wait long though if it is still a pretty big waiting list.

I got on the list 2 years ago for second level, may have changed to first level as top priority last year and this year was offered tickets in the second level. My number was 5xx when i started.
Its tough to tell how this year will go....do fans see the long term potential or do they see what should be a rough record and jump ship.

TIX
[S] 3
1519-1520

Does anyone know what this number from my hothouse renewal means?

It is for the lower bowl waitlist, and I should be in the top ten. I have decline this second set for a couple of years now, just not ready to commit to four tixs. I certainly hope they did not bump me back to 1519 because I declined these tickets.
