Default Re-rates with grids

OK here are the re-rates now with RFA and UFA grids included.

These are VERY similar to the past couple years with only minor adjustments made based on the distribution of players across the ratings. But nothing should be surprising here.

Note that it also notes the cut off line for players that need to be recalled to the CPHL if you want to re-sign or sign any UFAs.

RFA re-signing will start following the draft.

I want to clarify the rule for call ups - It is only on players 23 and under correct?

How does RFA1 vs RFA2 vs RFA3 work? Is that how many years you are signing them too?

When the ratings are usually input into the sim, some players see their overall ratings drop by 1 (or 2). Since the grids are determined by the overall ratings, is something in place to offset that? It can impact the cap as well as the trade value of the player if they are signed for a grid based on a rating which is not the same when the season starts.

For the purposes of contracts the excel sheets are the source of record. No adjustments will be made for any minor shifts in the sim.

What’s the reasoning for the overall rating dropping in the sim engine? It can (and has) impacted trade value when a player sees a drop.

I've never been able to understand it.
