Awesome. So happy to get spring training going! Should be a fun season.

Red Sox are going to be a mess. Orioles too. Yankees are obviously stacked and the Rays are gonna Ray and frustrate the hell out of the Jays.

Looking forward to a competitive Jays season.

I wish I could collect Chris Davis' pay cheque for one day. I think he would strike out one a game in Slow Pitch if he was sobre...he'd hit fingers every other time. Stupid Orioles.

Jay's should be fun to watch. Starting pitching is the question. Maybe 3 starters and two teams of 3 inning guys can get you thru the season.

The Yankees have been pretty good at developing pitchers for a while, so they lose several of them every year during the Rule 5 draft. Harris was a 2019 minor league phase pick by Toronto. His delivery has changed a bit and he showed up at instructs with a different one, one that better utilizes his lower half. He’s now parked at 96-98 and has been up to 101 out of the bullpen. Harris will still need to find a secondary pitch and his splitter, which he first learned as he entered pro ball, might also blossom late as he’s only recently begun to use it against both-handed hitters rather than try to get righties to swing over his curve. He’s got a shot to earn a bullpen spot at some point in 2021 if he can throw enough strikes in the minors. (Fall Instructional League)
Power arm indeed.

Zululeta is also a potential power arm for the bullpen eventually.

Love it. Something about a guy coming out of the pen throwing fricken smoke that is appealing. Especially if he's got some sort of wipe out secondary, like a slider or splitter, and can throw strikes.

That's phenomenal. 42ibs in 5 months is pretty darn impressive. I really hope he sees dividends so he continues to stay motivated. I'm sure that Tatis contract has given him 340 million reasons to aswell.

Hopefully the improved fitness and weight loss translate to a much lower percentage of worm burners.

Just say no to Vladimir Groundballo Jr.

Doubt dropping the weight will do that. Having strength without the weight will obviously be an asset to almost everything an athlete does but I don't see how it will get him a better launch angle.

I think he just needs to adjust to the vertical drop of major league pitches... and I think he'll get there.

In that short clip he reminded me of Pedro Martinez. Short with a nice delivery. Cool!
