Halo Infinite’s preview flight is open to the public this weekend if anyone’s interested. You download the Insider Hub app on your XB and install it from in there.
Really enjoying it so far. Classic Halo gameplay, yet nicely modernized. I can already tell the armour customization/season pass stuff will be a hit, and I absolutely love the sound design. The weapon audio and other sound effects are all super meaty and gratifying.
Yeah, I am really loving how they made it feel like classic Halo but modernized and beautiful. Very very optimistic!
I just got this email. I love the idea on having trials but starting the timer the moment you start downloading is incredibly stupid. Not everyone has the same speed internet. In my case download speeds here aren't very good during the day which is why I download overnight.
If you want to lower the trial time fine but make it actual playing time.
They were very cheesy, immature and very "video gamey" in their presentation. If you tried to make those games into a TV series, for example, it would be totally unwatchable. The medium has come a long way.
I can't believe the evolution of Kratos, that they were given the time and funding to do such a reimagining and evolution of the character and world in a time of when other games do endless repeats and more of the same. That they made me care so much about such a character and his journey with his son . . . wild.
I even remember that original crazy E3 reveal with the live orchestra.
And having an awesome revamped combat system, Christoper Judge, Sunny Suljic, and Bear McCreary helps of course. :P
So Hell Let Loose has a 10 hour trial on Xbox right now, and is hitting PS Plus on Tuesday, and I cannot overstate how much I freaking love this game. Everybody - give it a shot, and if there are other CP'ers out there playing this/planning to play it, let's squad up because a good squad makes the game.

Played it tonight, it was pretty good.
I had no idea what I was doing, ended up meeting a few people from the UK who were helpful. I can see playing this frequently, but man I am terrible

Reviews for Far Cry 6 have started to filter out. Not surprising to me at least but right now its sitting at about 7/10.
I loved Far Cry 3, loved the setting of Far Cry 5 but really since the 3rd one they have done very little to change things up. I will probably get this game to as I am still sucker but I will wait for black friday or boxing day when it is cheaper to get it.

Ha, I've had my FC fill for a while. I played through FC Primal after it sat unopened for probably 3-4 years. I thought it was one of their short half-game expansion types, but nooope
I've played a ton on pc. Very high replay value. Even when you lose it doesn't give you that urge to throw your controller
I like how the community (can't speak for consoles) aren't the 13 year old call of duty types for the most part
Right now there’s a lot of people who got it on PlayStation Plus that aren’t on mic, and it’s making it take a bit of a hit (also, the completely broken XP/server stability doesn’t help atm), but the good experiences far outweigh the bad ones on my end.

A couple of rounds and you’ll be on your feet! I feel like the game presents itself as having an incredibly steep learning curve, but really you get through it in a round or two.
Stupid XP. I just had a 24 kill round thanks to being in a tank, still level 1.
Just think about it as practice same thing happened on pc during early development. The dev team is small, but they care. Luckily 'levelling up' isn't the biggest deal in the game. If you're that good now, you'll keep having fun.

If you can afford it, and even better if you have a PC but get Game Pass Ultimate. You get EA Play (So early access to all EA games), Game Pass for PC and Xbox.
What games do you enjoy?
- Gears 5 is awesome
- Flight Simulator looks amazing
- If you like RTS check out Halo Wars 1/2 and Gears Tactics
- Psychonauts 2 is a great 3D platformer
- Sea of Thieves is a bunch of fun with friends
- If you haven't played both Ori games, do it.
- Hades, but I assume you have already played this.
- Sable has a cool art style
- Doom and Doom Eternal are great fun
- The Ascent
- The Outer Worlds, oldie but a goodie

Well if you do the Xbox Live Gold convert method, you can get 3 years of Game Pass Ultimate for half the price of regular Game Pass
