That third line could be a good shutdown line. I like the mix of skills there

Missed the last few games, but how long has Neal been on Backlund's line for?

I think that 3rd line could be real good.

I'm still sore about what I perceive as rushing Dube. The kid could be a gem, but he needs to dominate at the AHL while he gets used to playing against grown men.
I hope he's ok.

If they roll with these lines, it'll be interesting to see if they use Backlund's or Ryan's line as the shut down line next game.

He’s too good for the AHL

Sitting Dube is fine, but I’m really starting to think Ryan could use some time in the press box.

He's an NHLer. Accept that.
The AHL won't do jack for him or the club.

Love the middle 6. Neal IMO has earned a bit of a promotion. He's starting to get his chances and with how 3M seems to tilt the ice in their favor often, hopefully they will get some decent zone time. Tkachuk is a pretty good playmaker too, so hopefully Neal can get some decent chances.

I agree with sempuki. I think he'd benefit from heavier minutes at the AHL level and I think Czarnik provides as much if not more value when he's in the line-up.

They aren't 'sitting' dube, he was knocked unconscious less than a week ago.

I won't wade into the AHL vs NHL for development issue, but I think Dube has been considerably more effective than Czarnik with the ice time he's received.
