The Kings have relieved coach John Stevens and assistant coach Don Nachbaur of their duties. More changes to come from Kings in an announcement in about 30 minutes.

Marco Sturm is joining the #LAKings coaching staff as an assistant. He last coached the German national team.

Alain Vigneault.

Surprised they Fired the coaches after a W. That two jobs now that Stevens took over for an outgoing coach and flopped. Some guys were meant to be assistants.

I remember when Stevens was the guy Canucks fans wanted before Green. Glad we went with Travis.


I'd hate to see AV go there, but he'd be a good fit for a vet team trying to get some last kicks at it. Still don't see it helping LA enough though.

Although, if you look at their schedule, it makes sense. They have two days off now, then play Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, with two of the games being against Pacific Division opponents (Anaheim and Calgary).
