This. I am not a fan of Smith and said he was finished after game 1, not even back up worthy.

But I think we all know the situation, including Smith, and it has been rectified with Rittich now in net.

So no need to dog pile on Smith. I think we all want the Flames to win, including Smith.

I like Smith as a person, just not as a goaltender. Wouldn't mind seeing him move to some kind of coaching role with the organization when he retires, maybe he's our replacement for Sigalet

Somebody mentioned Sean Burke awhile ago. I would be on board for that.

I think Burke fancies himself as something much more than a goalie coach

Does Anyone in your league own Neal? No. Does anyone own Lindholm? ABSOLUTELY. You know why? Because one puts up points, and one doesn't. Cut and dry, Neal absolutely sucks for any money, not to mention the money he's getting paid
His shots tell me he was in on the play and engaged.

And there was a guy wide open on that play, it was a flukey deflection. Johnny makes that pass with the same result, you'd say "he was trying something".

19. That's right. 19. 19 points for our team tonight, and not one for Neal. Why would anyone defend him at this point? 20 games in with 4 points? 5.5mil a year? Really?

Neal looked good tonight. He was unlucky to not have more chances or to get one to go. Puck was really bouncing

Tonight was about the top line and Tkachuk, for the most part. The third and fourth lines weren't in on much.
