Comes down to goaltending IMO.
So really if Bob continues to be elite Bob that just put up a .943 against the Leafs then Florida will be a tough out for anyone.

Florida isn't running and gunning anymore. But why Carolina would be a much better matchup against the Oilers is their PK which is elite, unlike Florida whos PK was like 25th ranked or so. They would get killed with all the penalties the Oilers would get going against Staal and Ekblad who can't skate.

Let's not lump him in with Tkachuk. The Calgary Flames Organization did not deserve Sam Bennett. It didn't take a genius scout to know that not only was he a competitive guy, that he had all the tools to be about what he was drafted as - a centre who deserved legitimate linemates and icetime.
I hope he wins the Cup. Just hope Bobrovsky gets the Conn Smythe and not Tkachuk.

Yep. We're at that point where whomever has the best chance against the oilers is who I want to win.
If it was guaranteed the oilers won't make it out of the west I'd be cheering for FLA. Fun to watch, physical. I still can't stand the storm surge and Canes aren't all that exciting to watch (though admittedly small sample size)...
