Varsho is still very good with the glove and on the base paths. He just needs to figure out his swing I think he’ll be fine in the long run. Just look at Chapman last year who had plenty of time when he couldn’t hit. Also nice to see Swanson sit Hernandez down.

Pitching was excellent today, Manoah did struggle but his stuff is still so good that he competes no matter what. Then the pen absolutely locked it down wow. 4 innings, 0 hits, 8 strike outs. That is beautiful stuff!

Ive questioned the Pitching more than anyone to start the zeason, but this last 7 games or so has been unbelievable pitching from the starters and the bullpen.

Wow, I just read that when Romano recorded his 2nd out in the 9th, the Jays bullpen had at that point completed an 18 strike out "perfect game". 9 innings without a runner reaching base. It's now at 9.1 innings.
It's also now been 12.1 innings since they have given up a hit.
