22 Regional Games.

60 National Games.

If I'm reading the sechedule correctly two of the regional games are against Ottawa and Montreal. That means that living in Nova Scotia I'll have 62 Flames games broadcast to me (60 national, 1 Montreal regional, 1 Ottawa reigonal).

Meaning only 20 games would be blacked out. Most of which are 7pm Mountain start times or later, and during the week. Meaning I wouldn't be watching them anyway.

Likely only a handful of games that I'd want to see, would have the ability to see, but couldn't due to restrictions.

I'm not paying SN Now Premium for that.

Good job NHL, I would have signed up for NHL Live without a second thought, now you're not getting my money.

Given the amount of games that I'll be able to see, it almost seems like more of a hassle to have broadcast restrictions.

It appears that the Canucks crew with Garrett will be calling a playoff series.

That's weird after they did the big send off for Garrett this week.

No Saturday night doubleheader with the Leafs and Jets or on the CBC. Monday morning preemptive verbal strikes coming to Sportsnet!

Makes sense to me to do the send-off on a mostly meaningless reg season game involving his home-team instead of a playoff series with an unpredictable ending and fewer relevant fans watching

It almost makes it worth it to miss the playoffs and not have Harnaryan call our games.

Absolutely, it's just that usually after a person has a retirement party, they stop working.

Garrett is leaving the Canucks regional broadcast. He has never said he is retiring. He has said he will be doing non-Canucks national games.

Ball would have got the Calgary series.

Harnarayan would have got Edmonton.

Same thing happened last year in the first round.
