Russia is so aware of what they’re doing, the limp #### punishments the IOC handed out clearly have done nothing.

I really wish they showed the shots on goal at all times as part of the score graphic

Maybe Ken Holland offers this young Czech goalie a contract.

They were tired in the 3rd. I think #4 played the whole game.

Still their Olympic debut against the mighty Americans.

Czech Republic should definitely be proud of that result in their first Olympics

Yea, definitely an excellent debut, and the goaltending was other-worldly, but just watching them with the puck on stick hurt my soul

Japan's Women's Curling team is adorable.

Just having the time of their lives.

I had hopes when it was tied, but as soon as the US went up, it was over. The Czechs getting even a shot attempt was going to be miracle, never mind a scoring chance.

I turned the game on with 8 minutes left in the second and I might be wrong, but I'm pretty sure they only got 1 shot from that point despite all the PP time

Canada drops to 1-1 in Women's Curling.

Japan played a near-perfect match.

Jennifer Jones' first Olympic loss EVER

Ted-Jan Bloemen looking very unlikely to medal in 10000m Long Track Speed Skating.

Also finished a very disappointing 10th in the 5000m.

Just no where near his best these Olympics, as he was projected to medal in both events and comes nowhere close in either.

Ted-Jan Bloemen finishes 8th in Men's 10000m Long Track Speed Skating, another disappointing finish for the Canadian.

Bloemen says he missed a 4-week training block due to a cold (not COVID) prior to the Olympics and that he just doesn't seem to have the stamina for the longer distances right now.

Thought about pulling out of the 10000m race halfway through (the part where he surprisingly interacts with his coach on one of his laps) so he could save energy for the Team Pursuit since he knew he didn't have it.

Feels confident that he'll be able to handle the Team Pursuit.

Courtney Sarault, a medal hopeful in the Women's 1000m Short Track, fails to qualify for the Semi Finals.

Alyson Charles also fails to qualify.

Very rough event for the Canadian women, who were projected to medal in this event, as Kim Boutin fell on her final turn in the 1000m heats a couple days ago.

After an incredible day for Canada yesterday, they've had a much tougher day today, as they will fall well short of medalling in two events (Men's 10000m Long Track & Women's 1000m Short Track) that they were projected to medal in.

Now Maxime Laoun goes down in his Men's 500m Short Track heat.

Not the Olympic debut he was looking for, as a tough night of Canadian Speed Skating continues.
