I quite liked Prometheus personally, I thought it had a really interesting premise, it looked gorgeous, some really nice visuals and Idris Elba is amazing.
But to say was the 'best' Aliens movie? I wouldnt go that far.

I've just never been a huge fan of the Alien movies. I hit Prometheus in the theater and thought it was incredible, finding a star map to set a course, a man seeking his maker and has the means to travel to meet them, the origin of life on earth and how it was seeded, far more engaging than killer aliens chasing and killing people.

Okay....fair enough. I can see that.
I'm more or less the same way with Horror movies, you need an engaging premise (or hilarious one) to keep me interested because otherwise just kids getting slashed to death in the woods doesnt do a lot for me.
Okay. I can see where you're coming from.
I think we can all agree that 'Covenant' was lame though.

Hm. I have to say...I've never found the Aliens 'Hot.'
There is something off-putting about the teeth. And the mini-Alien in the mouth. And the claws. Then theres the acid...I mean...thats going to generate a lot of problems all on its own.

They they all offer diminishing returns after the first two. Or first one in Predator’s case.
I’d rank The movies:
T2
Alien/Aliens
Predator
T1
The rest
So I guess based on that it’s a tie between Alien and Terminator?

I don't think I've watched Terminator 2 since I was like 13. Does it still hold up?

Might not be bad. The liquid metal scenes and Arnold’s make-up don’t look great on rewatch.
