Gaudreau was absolutely deserving of 1st all star but it isn’t like they were competing against each other (even Marner for that matter). It’s position based so Matthews beat out McDavid.

To be honest. McDavid was robbed here. He is not a 2nd team of anything
Should just be 3 forwards. Matthews, McDavid and Johnny. They don’t have LD vs RD
Three all stars out of twelve total is just a massive achievement.
Flames had three in 1988 and again had three in 1989. But what is amazing about that is that they were six entirely different players. That is how good that team was.
Mullen, Macinnis, Vernon in 1989.
Loob, Suter McCrimmon in 1988.

And Josi was robbed of the Noris
The mask comes off.

And Gilmour and Newyndyk and Makarov
Stacked team. It was a disappointment they only won one cup
