I came across this doc on Netflix, so if you have netflix, go watch it there.
I spent time in Egypt in 2010 and i'm sure many others here have as well, and of course we are all aware of the events that unfolded in 2011 and continue to unfold in that country.

The doc shows the beginnings of protest in Tahrir Square right up until 2013 and the fall of Morsi.
It is nominated for best Documentary at the Academy Awards coming up in March.
Be warned, the documentary contains some disturbing footage.
I think it is important to make an effort to be educated about these topics, especially since they are occurring in multiple places around the world and the western media doesn't necessarily spend a ton of time on these subjects.
