Also thanks to a certain CP member for the addition to the 2020 away jersey!

There's the 3rd U21 player, never heard of him but like that it is an attacker!

Would much rather have Jordan Brown on the squad but there obviously wasn't a spot for him. Who knows maybe Smith-Doyle and Ntignee take their chances and run with it.

Shermanator - are these technically youth/body replacements for Kaiser and Rogers? Or different situation?

It's complicated as everything is so fluid throughout the year.

All CPL clubs need to have 3 Canadian U21 players on the roster at all times throughout the season. Players on standard and USports contracts count towards that 3, but players on Developmental contracts don't. So Kaiser counted but Rogers and Harms do not. So this time of year clubs are juggling things as the USports players leave their clubs to go back to school.

Without knowing the actual contract situations of Ntignee and Smith-Doyle, I would assume these are contracts until the end of the year plus a club option, and are just warm bodies to meet the roster requirements for the rest of the year.

Our group had a meeting today with the club about recent security issues. Don't have much in the way of detail yet as I wasn't there, but it sounds security will dial it back a bit. Hopefully that area of the game improves all around the stadium starting on Sunday.

Thought I’d post this here, figured folks here might be interested.
I bought a signed/framed jersey at a charity auction and don’t really have a place for it.

Signed by the whole 2021 team.

I have it listed on Kijiji for $500 but if any CP folks want it I’ll let it go for what I paid for it
$400

Forge lost to York and Pacific lost to Halifax yesterday, so a Cavalry win today puts them back at the top of the table.

I'm taking my 2 year old to the game today. Hopefully I can take in 10 minutes of the game by bribing her with ice cream.

If Halifax hadn't managed to bottle a draw in under a minute this would have been a perfect week for the Cavs (provided they win today)

So frustrating, outplay Ottawa badly and end up down 1-0 at the half.

Are these weather delays because it's raining or because a thunderstorm may come this way? I genuinely don't know. If it's the latter, shouldn't they play on until it's closer to the stadium?

This team just can't do anything but piss away their matches against Ottawa. How does this keep happening?

Took my daughter to her first game today. She had an absolute blast in the stands and was dancing when certain chants came up. Loved stomping her feet on the stands and dancing to the DJ during half time. Had to bail once the delay hit 45 minutes, can only keep her entertained for so long.

I left to get ice cream in the 40th minute before the weather delay so as far as I'm concerned Cavalry are still dominating the game and nothing else happened. Right? Right?

I wasn't at the game but Soccer Canada's policy is if you hear thunder you delay the game 30minutes.

Yep, when we won, but actually didn't.

Man that was amateur hour the first year when they didn't even know how the championship would be decided.

Sure they did. Whichever scenario was most beneficial to Forge.

A silver lining for Cavalry and their slump is at least they’re not having played sent off for violent conduct in every match like Pacific is now
