Honestly, the fact that Forsberg and Vasilevskiy ended up being the best players in that draft speaks volumes about how weak it was.
Doesn't excuse the Jankowski pick, but hey, it could have been much worse for us.

We all love to make fun of Feaster for that move. But this is 100% it. It was a crappy draft with a lot of crap shoots. Feaster traded down, as there really wasn't all that much separating the pack. Feaster obviously saw how weak the draft was and had to be extra clever and pick a guy that was still in the prep school system.
