Looks like Victor Loturi will be transferring to Ross County in the Scottish Premiership.
If this happens it would be a great move for both Loturi and Cavalry, with the assumption that Cavalry will get a transfer fee as Loturi signed a 3 year contract in the offseason. Dude has been an absolute baller this year even when he deputized at RB the last few games.
Also with Trafford, Simmons, Adekugbe already available for selection and Di Chiara available later this year, this is a transfer that wouldn't hurt Cavalry in the short term.

That's awesome for him, Cavalry and the CPL as a whole. Depending in how you feel about level of play between SPL and MLS this is one of if not the highest profile transfers the CPL has had so far. Hope he smashes it overseas and makes a solid career for himself!

I hope Loturi is there on Sunday even if he doesn’t play so we can give him a proper send off!

Seems like Ross County is pretty excited to have him.
It sucks to lose a player of his quality, but the fanfare and excitement this transfer is causing on both sides is really exciting to watch.
With Mo Farsi taking the pitch (even as a sub) with Columbus Crew, you can't help but smile at the talent coming through our system.
Any guesses on who's next? If Pepple keeps this up he might not be staying long.

Pepple seems like a safe bet, another possibility would be Yao and making the first team in MTL next year, as well as maybe Assi but I think his game needs more work before he's ready for the next level. Whatever arrangement Cavalry has with MTL for loaning out their talented young players has been working well so far!

On his call in to Fan960, Tommy mentioned that he has a few signings lined up for the July transfer window. With the team already looking pretty strong, I am going to be very excited if they can add one or two quality players, and a little depth.

Similar rank, but different composition. The old Firm, are head & shoulders above any MLS club, but after that most MLS clubs, I'd hazard are stronger than the rest of the SPL.

Akio has been linked to Ross County along with his brother, so I wouldn't be surprised to see him be announced soon. He teased exciting news on his social media last week and follows certain Ross County social media accounts.
Heard Akio to Dundee and Moses Dyer to Ross County as well but those are weaker rumours.

Yep. MLS has more consistency across clubs, whereas in Scotland the top club(s) is waaaay better than the field.
I don't think an MLS club would have any hope of making Europa League Final.

Transfermarket has the Loturi sale at 91K Euros which is close to 125K CAD. Extra money from appearances and a sell on fee if he moves on. Tidy bit of profit for the Cavs.

Just came to post the same. Spoke to some guys at Foothills and they were actually surprised Akio wasn't announced first.
Pumped for these guys. I remember when they both came up from youth and into mens in the city, you could tell they had something.

Semi finals in the Canadian Championship last night
CF Montreal rotated far too much and wasted a great opportunity to win the Canadian Championship. They're the best team in Canada by a good margin this year but they sure didn't show it yesterday
I thought Giantsopolous was poor for York against Vancouver. Need to get a hand to the first one and the second one I think he could've had a better attempt at it, but would like to find a better replay if such a thing exists

I sat next to the TFC supporters at BMO last night! Fun crowd, TBH. TFC dominated Montreal, who just looked flat most of the time. Toronto's passing and transition game was really on point.
As for Whitecaps and York, those last ten minutes were definitely fun. Cavs were definitely more capable of beating them than York was.
