So ####ing dumb. If they would have put the minimum amount of effort into taking Covid seriously he would have won the election easily. He didn't even have to do it early enough to make any real difference. Just the appearance of taking it at all seriously would have been enough lol.
I want to say "thank god he didn't" but a lot of damage was done that didn't need to be done as a result of it, it's not really something you can be thankful for at all.

This is the really sad part, it took massive mishandling of a pandemic to get him out of office. If there was no pandemic, he may of won

If there was a secret vote, enough Republicans would convict him.

Sadly, there's no way he gets convicted, even though the evidence is overwhelming and clear as day. At the very least it will put Senate Republicans on official record that they fully support violent insurrections and sedition... so I guess that's something.

This Trump lawyer on CNN right now, Bruce Castor Jr., is rambling on and on and on about seemingly random things. Baffling stuff.

Mr. Castor's argument is now that nobody had ever lived through impeachment before Clinton got impeached and now many of us have lived through three. And that's just too many, so Trump's impeachment should clearly not stand.
This guy is incredible. I can't imagine Trump is very happy watching this.

Well he’s not going to be paid so you can’t expect him to put too much preparation in.
Especially when the end result is already established.

I can't imagine Trump is actually watching this. He knows he's getting acquitted and he selected this lawyer because he intends on stiffing him and not because of his legal acumen. I frankly doubt he gives a good #### right now.

The opposition hired real lawyers to contest this! It isnt fair that I should have to fight an actual law firm!
Edit: I am not kidding this was essentially a verbatim argument by David Schoen as he waxed poetic about how much they paid for their legal team and how much effort and time they put into their presentations and slide shows.

They just played a montage of people advocating for Trump's impeachment with scary music in the background... as evidence against impeachment.
This speech is one long non-sequitur.

Trumps entire term in a nutshell: muddy the water with buzz words until nobody even knows what’s happening anymore.

That was so weird. Did Trump's lawyer just plug the hole in the back of his head so the water would not spill out while he drank?

I've seen some Tweets that say it's a religious thing.
