That was awesome to hear Anderssen talking smack to Brock Boesser from the last game.

Yeah "Oh wow, just because you got 5 games in the Show" I fully expected him to say " Whoop dee doo Basil!"

Also agree. Foo looks bigger out there than I thought he would. Doesn't seem to be afraid at all to go into the rough areas, which will help in his bid for an NHL job. I think Foo and Jankowski could have the ability to push some vets hard in camp.

I've certainly elevated my Foo hopes from the past four periods

Rasmus is a yappy little ####. That's great.

The pre-game banter...

"Let's have a better game today. I want to see a goal."
"I want to see a blocked shot."
"Blocked shot... Good one."

Dube is a Cochrane kid, they keep calling him a Calgary kid.

What he meant to say: "The best thing about Lloydminster is that I can get out of Saskatchewan real quick"

Yup. In the cooking video they showed yesterday, Mangiapane's group won the competition and he thanked Andersson for being such a lazy roommate last year and forcing him to cook all the time.

I don't think he has a realistic chance of winning a spot on the big club. He needs some AHL seasoning. He just doesn't look anywhere near as polished as Valimaki/Andersson and Kulak/Wotherspoon have a huge edge up on him as well in terms of experience.

But I do think he has some interesting upside to be a 3rd pairing physical guy who can throw some highlight reel hits. Would be nice to have that type of player again at some point.

Watching this Lindstrom bio has me thinking who we are missing for this Tournament.

Just Lindstrom and Fox? Anyone else of note?

Lindstrom, Fox, Mattson, Sveningsson, Joly (injury), Tuulola, Karnaukhov (don't think we'll ever see him again)

Foo looks close to competing for an NHL spot IMO. Any thoughts on Janko/Valimaki? I know you won't want to declare them blue-chippers based on a prospect tourney but were you surprised by them at all?

Right, Eetu is back in Finaland. Forgot about Svenningson. Has Mattsson strated Uni already? Thought he was USHL. Ah well.

Playing in this tournament would make him NCAA ineligible even if he goes back to the USHL again.
