Parsons makes 39 saves on 42 shots in his pro debut in a 5-3 win for the Mavericks.

Mavericks don't play again until next Friday.

Not going well for Parson's 2nd pro start.

Gave up 4 goals on 7 shots after 1 period. Kansas city down 4-0. Former Flame prospect Ryan Culkin with one of the goals.

Mavericks trailing 6-1 after two.

Shots 20-13 in favour of the Fort Wayne Komets

Parsons save percentage is going to be taking a hit after this one

And the blowout is finished 8-2.

Parsons gives up 8 goals on 30 shots. He was not pulled.

Parsons was absolutely hung out to dry in the 2nd Regular Season game. Mason McDonald not a backup option as he is out on a day to day illness.

No jump from his team and he is left making borderline impossible saves. The score does not by any means represent his effort this game.

Final Score
Mavericks: 8
Komets: 2

They will face off again tomorrow at 5:35pm MT

In the first period Parsons stops 16.

Mavericks working better today to back up their young goalie. Take the lead 2-1 after 20.

Training staff disclosed Mason Mcdonald's illness to be a family emergency and still are keeping it day to day. No report on when they expect to see him back

Parsons walks away with a hard earned win tonight. Putting up 43 saves. Stopping 19 in the last period alone.

Lots of grit from his teammates. Dan Correale was big on blocking shots and you could tell tensions were high in this game.

The Komets after their impressive victory last night were not going to go down easy. Mavericks can hold their heads a little higher after this win as we already forgot about the events of last night

Early morning game today. Parsons only played 1 period. Apparently had a collision with a forward in the 1st and toughed out the rest of the period. McDonald was in net to start the 2nd.

No word on Parsons yet.

3rd period about to start.

Played 47 games with the Mavericks in 2016-2017, scoring four goals and 10 assists. Was traded to Manchester, where he recorded five points (2G+3A) in 16 games. Finished the season with Cincinnati, where he registered an assist in two games. Now he has come back to Kansas City, and is looking pretty good thus far.
