agree with your Kuzmenko/Hunt take. also while I suppose the Pasternak slash was iffy (mind you this from watching live not the benefit of TV, the Bruins got away with a few stick fouls tonight- nothing egregrious but they don't have much to complain about with the special teams I think tipping 3-1 in their favour

parts of the OT were awkward or choppy but that mistake laden but pond hockey/back and forth style OT is worth the price of admission over the more methodical version we see sometimes- such a fun ending

Blues win and are up to a 91 point pace.

What’s interesting is there was lots of leaving the zone with the puck to regroup and passes back to the goalie which supposedly people hate.I don’t actually mind that, I feel like it kind of ratchets up the tension.

I didn’t think there was a bunch of mistakes, you just saw the results of an odd man rush in one direction resulting in an odd man rush the other direction.

Come on NHL, give cans what they want and expand 3 on 3 until someone scores.

I also loved the Sharangovich wind up and burst with the blistering shot at the end.

There were a few mistakes. Mangiapane got himself trapped on the boards (but managed to escape). Markstrom gave away the puck (and made a great save). Huberdeau gave the puck away for free (after a great play by him earlier to maintain possession).

Any time a forward shows confidence to actually attack the defense it makes me happy.

Feel like the team has been passive in that regard since Gaudreau left.
