Dallas hasn’t looked like they give a #### all series tbh. Their comeback win didn’t even look inspired and they’ve been soft as peanut butter on pucks every time I’ve checked in on them.

A team with Benn, Seguin, Pavelski, Robertson, Hintz, Stankoven, Heiskenan, Wyatt Johnston cannot score on Skinner? Like what the ####? It’s 20-8 in shots and they’re making Stuart Skinner look like Brodeur. This is absolutely ridiculous.

Some encouraging thoughts:

The only team to take Edmonton to the brink of elimination was Vancouver, who in the first five games, won three. They pounded Edmonton--that's not something L.A. did with their stupid 1-3-1, and Dallas hasn't been very physical either, which I think plays to the Greasers advantage.

Florida is different. They are tough throughout their lineup. They have the 2024 Selke winner in their lineup. And then there's the goalies--Bobrovsky and Stolarz are better than Skinner and Pickard. Florida dismantled the best regular season team, holding Zibnanejad scoreless, and only allowing Panerin a goal in the last two minutes of the last game. Plus there's the bonus of a coach who will say whatever pops in his head and is often hilarious.

Do they have a scoring chance? 20 shots from the point with no screen into a goalies crest is not threatening.

How come this is the first time they're making the cup final in what is it? 8 years?

They're good enough to make the team make the playoffs on their own. But to succeed in the postseason, they need a roster and a coach that can make them win multiple series in a row.
