Technically a TV show, but I think it still applies:
I think it looks great, but I'm also a huge Evil Dead / Bruce Campbell fan.
Good lord. So this year we get Mad Max, Star Wars, Jurassic Park, and now more Evil Dead WITH Bruce Campbell? My childhood nostalgia boner can't take much more

nope it just looks great, much better than expected. Thought it would be all soap opera looking like many shows and movies these days, nope, looks amazing. Can't wait.
Can you please let the whole DC vs Marvel thing go?
Especially from just a trailer, pretty sure he said the same thing about the Man of Steel trailer and that movie sucked. It's like the movie equivalent of an Oilers fan, let's try waiting to see the finished product before proclaiming a winner

Maybe it's because I'm not familiar with the story/comics but that Suicide Squad trailer looked horrendous to me. Zero desire to go see it.
I don't think that's true. I am familiar with a few of the characters through Batman such as Harley Quinn, Deadshot and Killer Croc. I've even read a couple comics and seen the animated movie but that trailer looked horrible to me too. The only thing that it's got going for it is Margot Robbie and Will Smith.
Margot Robbie looks and sounds great. I think the Batman stuff is just "how she got there" flashback stuff. It seemed there was a lot of that in the trailer. There has to be some setup to introduce these characters so we learn why they're so bad and why they're in prison/Arkham.
There's a lot of room for this to be really cheesy. It seems to be trying too hard.

Plus, it has Jai Courtney.
He's this decade's Sam Worthington.

Ahh so there is a winner then?

Yeah the trailer gets a pretty big shrug and a "meh" from me. I'm sure Leto will be good. Robbie looks fantastic, but I'm pretty sure otherwise is impossible. Although, is it just me, or does she look almost exactly like Anne Hathaway in costume?
I'm on the fence about seeing it unless some friends really want to, and I'm the biggest comic nerd they know, so probably not until it's out of theatres. I dunno. There is Batman, so....
