City youngster Jadon Sancho moving to Spurs apparently. Great signing for them, he's a great talent. Big blow to City, but they only have themselves ro blame. A fancy youth academy means jack if you don't give them chances.

Apparently falls outside their scope as only for cases of obvious zero contact.
Everton can't appeal the red either as it's a two yellow red.

City have a bad track record giving youth players a chance, especially since they have spent so much oil money on trying to make the development area a huge priority. This case was a bit out of their hands though as he was homesick, was going back to london every weekend
He didn't handle leaving city well either, he's young but definitely needs to mature a bit, the talent is off the charts though.

I can understand his point of view though too. If I were a young attacking midfielder and saw de Bruyne, Sterling, Sane, D. Silva and B. Silva ahead of me, I'd get disillusioned too. Then you look at Iheanacho and Roberts and leaving becomes an easy decision, even without being homesick. Sure, he could have handled the situation better. But he's still a kid, and being told "sign a new contract or we won't even take you on the preseason tour" surely wasn't fun either.
Moving to Tottenham is smart. There probably isn't a manager that has given more chances to young players in recent years than Pochettino, and Spurs aren't exactly stacked in numbers in attacking midfield. Seems like a great deal for everybody involved ... well, except for Citeh, but who cares.

Ya I can see that
He will get chances at spurs in cups maybe even this year if he performs, poch has always rewarded performance and hard work in giving youth players senior playing time over anything else

Manchester United is delighted to announce that Zlatan Ibrahimovic will continue his journey with the club and has signed a one-year contract. He will wear the number 10 shirt.
Jose Mourinho said: "We are delighted Zlatan is on the road to recovery and we are equally delighted to have his ambition and experience back with us. After his contribution last season he deserves our trust and we will be patient waiting for him to return. I have no doubt that he will be important in the second part of the season."

Hes a fantastic 'Plan B' before they have to resort to Fellaini headbutting someone.
Unless its Sergio Ramos. It is acceptable to headbutt Sergio Ramos.

Spurs have decided against signing Sancho despite the player's keenness, according to ESPN.
Pretty telling ... there must be some huge character flaws if they reject that kind of opportunity.

With all that hair, it would be like being headbutted by a giant Q-tip!

apparently Serge Aurier now has all the legal documents to be able to enter the UK. Looks like his €25m move to Tottenham is all but done.
some great business by Spurs late in the window. Wimmer will be sold for ~15-20m to one of Stoke, West Brom or Palace, meaning that they are basically replacing Walker/Wimmer with Aurier/Sanchez. IMO that's a clear upgrade on the field, plus a great deal financially. Well done.

He's had some issues in the past, Poch knows PSG well so I would think he has assurances that aurier has done some maturation over the last year or so
he's a fantastic right back, has more pace and a better cross than walker, I think I saw a stat he has the most assists for a defender in the past 3 seasons in the top 5 European leagues, and he's better defensively, he's even played some CB in the past in a pinch
Poch said Friday he still expects another signing or two as well

I have been watching this and waiting because I'm worried that someone (United or Chelsea in particular) will try to swoop in before its a done deal. Apparently it's done now, but you just can't tell. But that figure has been thrown around a lot and apparently the legal issues are solved as well, as you say. Frankly this turned out brilliant for Spurs because they sold Walker and then upgraded and for roughly half the money.
Pochettino said yesterday that he was hoping for 4 players plus a keeper before the window closes. It will be interesting to see who the other two would be (Sanchez, Aurier and Gazza##### all assumed to be done). Barkely has been rumoured all summer of course, and unsurprisingly a whole host of others. I still think that both Wimmer and Sissoko are leaving and maybe even a guy like KWP on loan.
Regardless though, Spurs are doing some exciting things, and could look really impressive after this week.

I don't think I've ever seen a ref trend on Twitter as often as Dean does. Which no doubt makes him a happy man. Attention whore.
